Linux Application Specialist
- Atleast 2 years of progressive IT experience delivering high impact business solutions
- Ability to perform specific Linux activities:
- Configuration, installation and maintenance of primary network services
Name service(bind) ,Webservice(apache),FTP Service (proftp,wu-ftp),mai Service (Send mail, qmail)
- Configuration, installation and maintenance of secondary network services
DHCP service, Directory service(vp,ldap),File server (Samba,NFS),Proxi server (Squid),PPP service
- Firewall
- Kernel Recompilations
- Back-up and recovery (with scripts and deamons)
- Clustering
- Database Server
- Application development(Java,TCL,TK)
- Experience with the Rational Unified Process (RUP) or some other object oriented methodology (OMT) to support an iterative process
- Proficient in application of UML to real-world problems
- 2+ years experience in leading a team of developers
